TerraHDD would like to acknowledge that our head office resides on Treaty 7 territory, the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Nations, including Siksika, Piikani and Kainai, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney Nakoda First Nations including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations. We would also like to recognize the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3 and the Inuit people who have made their home here in Moh'kins'tis, also known as Calgary.

TerraHDD has also made Indigenous Training mandatory as our commitment to gain a better understanding of key issues facings Indigenous peoples today. We employ a full time aboriginal employee as part of this initiative.

  • It is compulsory that all TerraHDD Employees have completed a 12-Week Indigenous Canada Course from the Faculty of Native Studies offered by the University of Alberta, which explores Indigenous histories and contemporary issues.
