As President, Ed brings over 30 years of experience as one of the original trenchless designers in North America. Ed entered the early Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) industry as a directional driller providing planning and tooling services for an international oil field company based in Houston, Texas. Supplying the northern market with the first HDD services and ultimately becoming it's Canadian Divisional Manager, Ed continued his career planning and constructing some of the largest projects throughout the world. Ed’s projects have continued to break world records in length and complexity including the largest Microtunnel urban project in downtown Calgary, Alberta. He is considered an expert in trenchless design and construction, personally managed over a thousand successful completed designs, and has appeared as an expert witness in provincial court.
Ed has developed many of the planning/construction techniques now considered standard practice. He continues to develop and successfully construct cutting edge trenchless projects/services/products and received multiple industry awards in design and project management. Eds experience includes operations, development, and project management as well as large scale trenchless projects, pipeline construction, reclamation/remediation, municipal and integrity work. |

As Project Manager and Manager of Geotechnical & Engineering, while maintaining a high level of excellence and high standards developed through over 25 years work experience, Mr. Zhao works directly with clients and has been responsible for overseeing our technical department to ensure projects are managed and completed successfully. Concentrating on trenchless crossing technologies for the last over 10 years, John has worked on Horizontal Directional Drill crossings for pipe sizes ranging from NPS 3 to NPS 48. John’s experience includes field geotechnical investigation, geo-hazard assessment and HDD crossing design. John’s unique experience and knowledge of geotechnical engineering provide him the capability of designing the crossings according to site specific ground conditions to minimize construction risks but not over conservative design to endure projects are completed smoothly and successfully. With his expertise, John has also acted as a subject expert for reviewing third party engineering designs and evaluating claims from third parties on several occasions.

Caroline is a born and raised Calgarian and is also Metis, Bilingual, a mom and the current Office & Project Manager at TerraHDD Solutions. She has held various positions on the board of the Association of Administrative Professionals over the past 5 years on the Executive Board of Administrative Professionals, as an enthusiastic advocate for this profession.
Caroline has played a vital part in growing a successful Oil & Gas business from 3 employees to 40, over the course of the last 10 years. She studied at Mount Royal University, obtaining my Bachelor of Business in General Management, and then furthering her accolades with the Certified Canadian Administrative Professional Certificate and Mentora Institute Leadership Certification. Caroline has also been a Lead Coordinator for the VIP Delegates at Energy Disruptors Unite Conference in the fall of 2019, with had high profiled keynotes such as Malcom Gladwell and Dr. Vivienne Ming in attendance. I was the recipient of the most Generous Volunteer for Association of Administrative Professionals in 2018. Caroline is extremely committed to her volunteer commitments, she also volunteers on the Alberta Sprint Racing Canoe Association, and has goals to expand her skills in leadership and sharing this wealth of knowledge through education and networking with others. She is inspired by entrepreneurship, passion, vulnerability, and hustle. In Caroline’s free time she enjoys catching a class on her peloton, drinking Starbucks, and eating endless amounts of sour candies. Her favorite colour is pink and guilty pleasures includes watching the bachelor and splurging on skin care. |

Parth is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from Ryerson University, where he has specialized in heat transfer, fluid mechanics and stress analysis.
He started his career in EPCM and oil and gas industry back in 2013 working as a project engineer. Now at TerraHDD, he has been working as a HDD Design Engineer for over 4 years. His expertise consist of trenchless designs, stress analysis and project management. He has worked on multiple HDD designs at various locations in and around Canada. His skills, knowledge and expertise has always made him a great asset at our organization. |

Andres is a Civil Engineering Technologist working with TerraHDD. He graduated from SAIT before joining the TerraHDD team in 2016. Currently, he works in conjunction with the Engineering and Geotechnical divisions on AutoCAD drafting and as a field supervisor for geotechnical investigations.

As Senior Drafting Manger, Troy brings over 17 years of experience to the Horizontal Directional Drilling industry including office and field settings.
Troy graduated from NAIT with distinction with a diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting with as well as a diploma with distinction as a 4th class Power Engineer. Over the years, Troy has created many standards in drafting that revolutionized the HDD industry. Troy’s dedication to his work has been demonstrated in how he always strives to make drafting documents to the highest standards. Troy’s work ethic and dedication is clearly demonstrated within in the work he preforms. |
