EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Jet Boat
Our 18ft Kingfisher comes with an inboard 200hp Mercury Sport Jet and is specifically designed for work in the shallow rivers our clients commonly operate in. The size and design compared to rigid inflatable boats allows for safe, fast operation with a large cargo capacity for equipment and crew along with more suitable operation in inclement weather conditions due to the wraparound windshield and overhead canopy. Not only are we able to accommodate water quality monitoring operations but for difficult work areas with long roundtrips we are able to transport crew across the waterway, saving on driving time and increasing project efficiencies.
Water Quality Monitoring
In the demanding environments our clients operate in, we only use top quality commercial-grade monitoring equipment. These OBS3+ turbidity sensors and CR300 data loggers are custom configured to our specifications by Campbell Scientific and include radio connectivity with base station access, with long battery life even in cold weather conditions to avoid data loss. Solar charging and cellular connectivity are available options to allow 24h remote monitoring by on-site crew, inspectors, or client representatives to ensure up to the minute data collection. Our use of high quality equipment ensures that environmental risks are mitigated, helping to avoid costly shut downs and expensive clean-up effort caused by un-noticed aquatic mud releases. All sensors are calibrated individually by the manufacturer to ensure accurate data collection, and are re-evaluated as recommended to give our clients and government regulators the assurance that all obtained turbidity data will be accurate.
Drill Mud Test Kits
We utilize industry-standard mud testing equipment to assure reliable and dependable salinity testing. Our filter presses are manufactured by OFI Testing Equipment (OFITE) or Di-Corp and are serviced regularly to maintain their leak-free reliability in maintaining sample pressure to extract liquid from the drill mud. Salinity testing equipment includes Horiba Laqua-Twin electronic meters which are calibrated regularly and in line with manufacturer recommendations. Units are replaced as needed to maintain accurate results that our clients can rely on for compliant waste disposal, minimizing any potential for regulatory issues. Proper testing procedures are followed, and we always ensure use of disposable equipment such as pipettes to eliminate the potential for contamination that could affect salinity results.
Safety
Safety of our on-site personnel is our highest priority, which is why we ensure that on every water quality monitoring project they are supplied with life jackets, harnesses, and safety rope. Emergency equipment such as emergency blankets are also provided in our safety kits, along with other items we have found to be useful for efficient field operation of water quality monitoring programs throughout winter conditions(replacement auger blades, PVC Pipe, insulation).
